What you get

Complete email copy

Three subject lines, preview text, greeting, body, and sign-off, written from the product's own description.

Suggested timing

An estimate of how many days one unit lasts, based on pack size and servings, as a starting point for when to send.

One-click checkout link

The email button goes straight to checkout with the product in the cart, so there are no extra steps between the email and the order.

What makes a reorder email convert

A reorder email works when it arrives just before the customer runs out, names the exact product they bought, and makes buying again take one click. Discounts are optional. The timing and the convenience do most of the work.

  • Timing per customer. Each customer's reminder should be based on their own purchase date, not a weekly campaign sent to everyone.
  • Timing per product. A 30-day supplement and a 90-day refill need different reminder windows.
  • One clear action. One product, one button, linked to a pre-filled checkout.
  • A short follow-up. One gentle nudge a few days later recovers customers who missed the first email.

Common questions

What is a reorder reminder email?

A reorder reminder email (also called a replenishment email) is sent to a customer who bought a consumable product, timed for when they are likely to run out. It reminds them to buy again before they switch brands or forget. It is sent to one customer based on their own purchase date, not as a batch campaign.

When should I send a reorder email?

Send it a few days before the customer is likely to run out. If a 60-capsule supplement is taken twice a day, it lasts about 30 days, so a reminder around day 25 gives time for delivery. The tool suggests a timing from the product description, but you should adjust it to how your customers actually use the product.

What information does the tool use?

It reads the product's public Shopify data: title, product type, vendor, tags, variant names, and description. That text is sent to an AI model hosted by Groq to write the email. Prices, customer data, and order history are never read or sent. Nothing is stored.

What do {first_name} and {store_name} mean in the email?

They are placeholders. Replace them with your email platform's merge tags, for example a customer first-name tag, so each customer sees their own name. {product_name} is filled in automatically with the product's title.

Where does the email button link to?

The button links to a Shopify cart permalink in the format /cart/VARIANT_ID:1, which adds the product to the cart and opens checkout in one click. You can build links for other variants or quantities with the free Shopify Checkout URL Generator.

How do I send this email automatically to every customer?

ReOrder Reminder Pro schedules a reorder reminder for each customer based on their own purchase date. In Manual Mode you set usage days per product, such as the timing this tool suggests. In Auto Mode one global reminder period applies to all products.
